Krennhalsa z Lubeki, który w bohaterskich rymach opiewa walki turyngskiego pułku piechoty nr. 94, noszącego od roku
1870/71 miano ,,żelaznego pułku"; pułk ten,
mimo upartego oporu rosjan,. zdobył cmentarz bechcieki i tem rozstrzygnął opuszczenie wioski przez rosjan.
W czasie walk wieś Beoheice w dzewięć dziesątych została zniszczona, dzisiaj jednak na gruzach pobudowano się na
nowo i na łanach tak obfieie zroszonych
krwią, zakwitło nowa życie.
Bechcice zamieszkałe są przez kolonistów, którzy przed wielu laty przybyli tu z Hessen-Darmstadtu i mimo kilku pokoleń zachowały swoją odrębność niemiecką.

Auf der linken Seite der Straße von Konstantynów nach Lutomiersk liegt das Dorf Bechcice, wo die Kämpfe im November 1914 eine entscheidende Rolle bei der Einnahme der "D." spielten. L. Ztg." schreibt, dass Bechcice sowie der dortige Friedhof bereits ihren Dichterheiligen Dr. W. A. Krennhals aus Lübeck gefunden haben, der in seinen Heldengedichten die Kämpfe des Thüringer Infanterieregiments Nr. 94, seit 1870/71 das "Eiserne Regiment" genannt, rühmt; dieses Regiment habe trotz des hartnäckigen Widerstandes der Russen den Bechcicer Friedhof erobert und damit entschieden, dass die Russen das Dorf verlassen sollten. Während der Kämpfe wurde das Dorf Bechce in zehn Jahren zerstört, aber heute sind auf den Ruinen neue Gebäude errichtet worden und auf den blutüberströmten Feldern ist neues Leben aufgeblüht. Bechcice wird von Kolonisten bewohnt, die vor vielen Jahren aus Hessen-Darmstadt hierher kamen, und hat trotz mehrerer Generationen seine deutsche Eigenart bewahrt.
Bechcice-Wieś ist ein Dorf in Polen in der Woiwodschaft Łódź, Kreis Pabianice, in der Gemeinde Lutomiersk. Das Dorf liegt auf der Hochebene von Łaska. In den Jahren 1975-1998 gehörte das Dorf verwaltungstechnisch zur Woiwodschaft Sieradz. Wikipedia

On the left side of the road from Konstantynów to Lutomiersk lies the village of Bechcice, where the battles of November 1914 played a decisive role in the capture of the "D. L. Ztg." writes that Bechcice as well as the local cemetery have already found their poet-saint Dr. W. A. Krennhals from Lübeck, who in heroic rhymes praises the fights of the Thuringian infantry regiment no. 94, which since 1870/71 has been called the "iron regiment"; this regiment, despite the stubborn resistance of the Russians, captured the Bechcice cemetery and thus decided that the Russians should leave the village. During the fights the village of Bechce was destroyed in ten years, but today on the ruins new buildings have been built and on the fields so richly strewn with blood, new life has blossomed. Bechcice is inhabited by colonists who came here many years ago from Hessen-Darmstadt and despite several generations it has retained its German distinctiveness.
